Connect to Excel without using the add-in
We now have a new way of connecting the data directly to excel, making use of excel's data connection options.
Follow this short guide to easily connect your datasets to excel.
New chart type: OHLC chart
We have a new chart type! OHLC charts for financial data. We are bug testing the chart and it will be available in a couple of days. We are planning to add lots of financial data sources soon so we are preparing typical financial charts for it
"Update now" button
Our datasets get updated every night. We are exploring a number of ideas to improve data availability, such as giving the users an "update now" button to fetch the data from the original source right away.
We love the idea of having the users help us to keep the datasets updated collaboratively. More options are coming down the road (i.e. some equivalent to Github's "pull request")

No, it's not about Lionel Richie's song (ok, sorry about that). Now you have three options to download the datasets: Wide, Long, and Transposed:
Each one corresponds to a different structure of the data and has different use cases. Long, for example, is ideal for Power BI, Excel Pivot tables or, more generally, for panel data analysis.
