Friday Update - September 17th

A new Friday is here. We spent most of the week stabilizing the new pipeline processes under heavier user pressure. We survived!! Meanwhile, we launched new UX features.

Improved dataset search: Filters by categories

This was probably one of the pending features most requested by the users. Filters by categories. In the datasets search view, you can now filter by region and country, categories, frequency, sources, sector, and more. We are permanently tagging the data to categorize it so feedback is welcome. Should we add another filter type?

Learning Center

We have collected all of our tutorials, examples, webinars, and documentation into a new "Learning Center" area. You will find guides on every major topic in Alphacast.

More verbose dataset view.

We are working on making our platform more responsive and verbose, so users can have a better understanding of what's going on under the hood. Every time a dataset is updated or a pipeline runs it will be reported on the "Activity Tab". More information is provided in case of failure.

Also, you can now jump directly to editing either the dataset metadata or the pipeline (if the dataset is derived from another dataset)
