The value added in the ICT sector as a percentage of total business sector value added: This indicator represents the estimated value added of the ICT sector divided by total business sector value added (in %).

This dataset includes yearly index measuring the revealed comparative advantage (RCA) for multiple countries, published by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Revealed comparative advantage (RCA) is based on Ricardian trade theory, which posits that patterns of trade among countries are governed by their relative differences in productivity. While the metric can be used to provide a general indication and first approximation of a country's competitive export strengths, it should be noted that applied national measures which affect competitiveness such as tariffs, non-tariff measures, subsidies and others are not taken into account in the RCA metric

This dataset includes yearly information on exports and imports volume, unit and value indexesh for multiple countries, published by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Base year is 2015=100. Value index: current value of exports (FOB) converted to dollars and expressed as a percentage of the base year. Volume index: the ratio of the export value index to the corresponding unit value index. Unit index: unit value indices are calculated using current year trade values available at the SITC Rev. 3, 3-digit level, at UNCTADstat as weights. Purchasing power index: the value index of exports deflated by the import unit value index.
