This dataset includes yearly information about HH index for a wide variety of countries. HH (Hirschman Herfindahl) index is a measure of the dispersion of trade value across an exporter’s partners. A country with trade (export or import) that is concentrated in a very few markets will have an index value close to 1. Similarly, a country with a perfectly diversified trade portfolio will have an index close to zero.

This dataset includes tariff data in percentages for different countries. Data shows information about Most Favored Nation (MFN) and Effectively Applied (AHS). In current usage, MFN tariffs are what countries promise to impose on imports from other members of the WTO, unless the country is part of a preferential trade agreement (such as a free trade area or customs union). This means that, in practice, MFN rates are the highest (most restrictive) that WTO members charge one another.

Imports Concentration Metrics

This dataset includes yearly information of Global value chains (GVCs) published in World Integrated Trade Solution (WITS), about measures that are computed by a team of The World Bank and Bank of Italy researchers. There are two data concepts used. They are GVC Trade and GVC Output. Trade contains measures related to international trade. The unit of observation are exporting and importing country, sector, year and source. GVC Ouptut contains measures related to gross output of each country. The unit of observation is Country, Sector, Year and Source. Data is in millions of US Dollar. Global Value Chains (Gvc)

This dataset includes yearly information about travel services for a wide variety of countries. Travel services covers goods and services acquired from an economy by travelers in that economy for their own use during visits of less than one year for business or personal purposes. Travel services include the goods and services consumed by travelers, such as lodging and meals and transport (within the economy visited).

Travel Services

This dataset includes information about non-tariff measures' trade frequency coverage ratio. The coverage ratio is calculated by determining the value of imports of each commodity subject to NTMs, aggregating by applicable HS commodity group, and expressing the value of imports covered as a percentage of total imports in the HS commodity group. The NTM-affected product refers count of traded HS 6-digit products that are subject to one or more NTM measures.
