The 'Construya Index' is estimated by the 'Grupo Construya'. The index measures the evolution of the volumes sold to the private sector of construction products manufactured by the leading companies that make up the Construya Group: ceramic bricks, portland cement, lime, long steel, aluminum carpentry, adhesives, and paste, waterproofing paints, sanitary ware, boilers, and home and central heating systems, taps and water conduction pipes, floors and ceramic tiles.' It has its base year in June 2002.
