Activity & Production - Argentina - INDEC - Use of installed capacity in the industry (UCII)

The indicator of the use of installed capacity in the manufacturing industry measures the proportion used, in percentage terms, of the productive capacity of the industrial sector in the country. The survey comprises a panel of between 600 and 700 companies. For its calculation, the maximum production that each sector can obtain with the current installed capacity is taken into account. Technical criteria are considered, such as the potential use of production plants, using the maximum number of shifts possible and the necessary stops for the appropriate maintenance of said capacity.
