Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA) - Credit Conditions Survery

By alphacast

The Credit Conditions Survey (ECC) is a quarterly survey that aims to collect additional information on the behavior and trends observed in the bank credit market. The participation of financial entities is voluntary. These entities together represent approximately 90% of the private sector credit market. Based on the responses obtained, indicators are constructed that allow for knowledge of the main market trends in an aggregated manner. In particular, the Diffusion Index (ID) is elaborated, which constitutes a global indicator of the evolution of the analyzed variable. It is constructed as the difference between the percentage of responses that show a positive evolution ("Moderately more flexible" and "More flexible" responses), minus the percentage corresponding to negative responses ("Moderately more restrictive" and "More restrictive").
