The Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCRP) is the Central Bank of Peru. It is the country's monetary authority and is responsible for issuing and regulating the national currency, the Peruvian Nuevo Sol. The BCRP is also responsible for implementing and monitoring monetary policy, which includes setting interest rates and controlling the money supply to achieve the country's economic and financial goals.
