The Government of Mexico is the governing body of Mexico, consisting of executive, legislative, and judicial branches. The executive branch is headed by the President of Mexico, who is elected for a six-year term, and is responsible for the formulation and implementation of public policies. The legislative branch is composed of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, both of which are elected by the citizens of Mexico. The judicial branch is responsible for interpreting and enforcing the law, and is headed by the Supreme Court of Justice.
