This dataset includes yearly information on the Productive Capacities Index (PCI) for multiple countries, published by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The Productive Capacities Index (PCI) is built upon UNCTAD's framework to measure a country's ability to produce goods and services and foster growth through three pillars: productive resources, entrepreneurial capabilities, and production linkages. These pillars are further divided into eight categories including natural and human capital, energy, institutions, private sector, structural change, transport, and information technologies. The PCI is a composite index summarizing these categories into a single indicator. For further information about the methodology please refer to: https://unctadstat.unctad.org/datacentre/reportInfo/US.PCI
