External Sector - Uruguay - BCU - Real Exchange Rate

This dataset contains Uruguay monthly real exchange rate indicators such as global, extraregional, and regional. These are defined as the relationship among the consumer price indices of Uruguay main trading partners with respect to the domestic economy, expressed in the same currency. Furthermore, these are calculated as an arithmetic mean of the indices of the bilateral real exchange rate, taking the average for 2017 as a reference. The countries included in the calculation are: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, United States, Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and the People's Republic of China
