This dataset contains the monthly operations of Ecuador's Consolidated General State Budget (PGE), with variables expressed in millions of dollars. Revenue operations are generally recorded on a cash basis, except for transfer revenues to various subsectors from the General State Budget, which follow an accrual basis. Consequently, the overall recording method is classified as "modified cash." In contrast, expenditure operations are primarily recorded on an accrual basis, except for financial expenses (such as interest), which are recorded on a cash basis.
