This dataset includes information about Chile monthly exchange rate. The real exchange rate is defined as the product between the observed nominal exchange rate and a relevant external price index for Chile (IPE) deflated by the Chilean consumer price index (CPI). For the calculation of the IPE, a weighted average of the different inflations in the trading partner countries is carried out according to their respective participation in foreign trade. To measure the level of inflation level, the Producer Price Index (PPI) is used or the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
