This dataset includes daily main interest rates published by South African Reserve Bank,encompassing the following four rates: the Repo rate, Prime lending rate, Interbank rate, and Treasury bills - 91 day (tender rates). Repurchase rate: Rate at which the private (sector) banks borrow rands from the SA Reserve Bank Prime lending rate: Benchmark rate at which private banks lend out to the public. Treasury bills - 91 day (tender rates): The average rate at which 91 day Treasury Bills are allotted during the weekly Treasury Bill auction.
