Is BTC a financially independent asset, isolatedly traded by a new generation of investors? Is it bought and sold disregarding all "traditional" finance indicators?
By looking at a bitcoin/US10Y chart, it does not seem to be the case. The correlation showed up mainly after cryptos got more liquid a time ago (owing to top investment banks started to take part in crypto markets, perhaps?).
Comparing to others currencies? Unlike the rest of BRICS currencies, $BTC and USDBRL have shown correlation throughout 2021. Of course, it does not mean causality
