The inflation expectations for the current and next two years and forecast of various other economic variables of financial analysts, business people, trade union officials and households are available separately.

This dataset includes the quarterly Business Confidence Index (ICE) published by the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD). This indicator, established in the Industrial Outlook Survey, gauges entrepreneurs' perceptions regarding the climate for investment, the national economy, the international economy, the status of their company, and the branch or subsector of activity in which their company operates. In essence, it captures the perceptions that entrepreneurs hold regarding the environment in which they conduct their businesses, indicating the extent to which they feel more or less optimistic concerning these various indicators.

The AIRD was founded on April 7, 1962. It is the largest and most important industrial association in the Dominican Republic, comprising over 200 industries (direct and indirect members) across 23 subsectors, including food and beverages, plastics, paper, textiles, mining, energy, steel, cement, and other construction-related products, pharmaceuticals, personal and household care products, tobacco, among others. It is composed of more than 20 sectorial and regional associations.

This dataset provides quarterly data from the Industrial Outlook Survey of the Manufacturing Sector conducted by the Reserve Bank of India. The survey encapsulates qualitative assessment of the business climate by Indian manufacturing companiesand their expectations.
BAI/BEI gives a snapshot of demand conditions in the manufacturing sector by combining nine parameters – (1) overall business situation, (2) production, (3) order books, (4) inventory of raw material, (5) inventory of finished goods, (6) profit margin, (7) employment, (8) exports and (9) capacity utilisation. A value above 100 indicates an expansion of the overall business activity and value below 100 indicates contraction.

It is a survey that summarizes expectations of the economic agents regarding main economic variables for different times periods: the end of both the current month and following month, the current year; the next 12 months of the following year and for the horizon of Monetary Policy (around 18 and 24 months).
